Lavender Oil:
Aroma: Floral, herbaceous, fresh. This Lavender variety has a strong, slightly green-smelling aroma.
Aromatherapy Properties: Lavender balances the mood, clears the mind, has a long tradition in skin & hair care as well as medicine and is used for many household solutions. One of the unique characteristics of Lavender Essential Oil is that it is not merely energizing or relaxing, but balancing. The scent of Lavender will rejuvenate and inspire a tired person, and relax, soothe and slow down someone who is stressed or tense.
Suggested Use: Apply a few drops to a tissue and inhale, or place on your pillow for restful sleep. Add a few drops to your laundry rinse, your drawers, and the water reservoir of your iron for fresh smelling laundry. Two drops on your hair brush will rejuvenate hair and scalp.
Add 5 drops to a hot bath for a blissful retreat that can help soothe headaches and stressful times, mixing the oil with Half & Half prior to blending it with the water (in order to prevent the oils from floating on the surface).
Add 5-10 drops to 1oz. of Carrier Oil or unscented body care product, less if you are making body care for children.
History: Lavender's origin may lay in Persia, but it is grown all over the world today, in an attempt to satisfy the ever growing demand for this wonderful oil. Unfortunately Lavender is frequently "cut" (stretched) with synthetic compounds, so make sure you buy your Lavender from a reputable source, committed to quality and purity.

Eucalyptus Oil:
Aroma: Fresh, cooling, camphoraceous, with woody undertones. Eucalyptus Globulus is harsher than other Eucalyptus varieties.
Aromatherapy Properties: Cooling, refreshing, energizing. Used in skin & hair care, to deodorize and to keep insects at bay.
Suggested Use: Use in a diffuser to freshen your environment. Add 2-3 drops to a bowl of hot water to inhale the fragrant steam, or use it in the sauna/steam bath.
Add 5-10 drops to 1oz. of unscented body care product, less if you are making body care for children. Eucalyptus is a great ingredient when massaging sore, aching muscles or as an energizing sports massage. Simply add up to 10 drops of Eucalyptus Essential Oil or Aromaland's Muscle Cool Blend (which contains Eucalyptus) to 1oz. of Carrier Oil or unscented massage oil/lotion.
History: Traditional folk medicine has used its cooling effect to ease feverish conditions.
There is another historic reason why Eucalyptus is also commonly called "Fever tree": When the British colonists came to Australia, they found that planting Eucalyptus groves helped to keep insects and thereby contagious diseases at bay. Being highly water-hungry plants, the Eucalyptus trees also aided in drying out waterlogged, marshy soils, turning them into arable land, and reducing the breeding grounds for mosquitoes.
Today 75% of all trees grown in Australia are of the Eucalyptus family.
Specific Safety Information: Non-toxic for use on skin or diffused. Never ingest Eucalyptus, very toxic orally.
Peppermint Oil:
Aroma: Minty. Peppermint is commonly known from Peppermint tea, chewing gum or candy, but the Essential Oil is much more strong and concentrated and should be used in moderation. Very fresh and clean smelling.
Suggested Use: Use in a diffuser to freshen your environment. Add 2-3 drops to a bowl of hot water to inhale the fragrant steam.
Since Peppermint may cause skin sensitizing in higher concentration, use only small amounts for body and skin care application; 1-2 drops per 1oz. of unscented body care product, less if you are making body care for children.
Peppermint is a GRAS approved food additive and is a great spice for desserts, syrups, yoghurt dishes etc. Please note that you will likely need less than a drop per dish. You may want to decrease concentration by blending it with a Carrier Oil, and if not, always measure the drops before adding them to the dish.
Tea Tree Oil:
Aroma: Very strong and medicinal smelling. Spicy-camphorous, warm scent. For many people who have experienced the benefits of Tea Tree Oil, this scent has become equivalent to the 'scent of healing'.
Suggested Use: Add 5-10 drops to 1oz. of unscented body or hair care product to enhance their effectiveness. Add 2-3 drops to a bowl of hot water for a purifying steam treatment. Apply to pimples with a Q-tip 2-3 times a day. Please refer to Aromatherapy literature for more detailed information on how to use this Essential Oil as a healing aid.

To avoid shipping charges you can elect a curbside pickup or drop off. Pick-up is arranged at 1319 Park Street, Paso Robles, CA 93446 at pre-arranged schedule. Drop off is offered throughout No. County San Luis Obispo in a 15 mile radius of the shop's physical address. Drop off will include packaging and receipt information. Some products are sensitive to heat and cold and may attract unwanted attention of people or animals. Please call to plan a pick-up.
