Live Zoom Event

May 2020 was to be our 4th Sand Mandala at EarthTones. With COVID, Mary has been following Minyak Rinpoche and the Sacred Art Tour's prayers and webinars broadcast from a Drepung Gomang Center for Engagement Compassion in Louisville. Their chants have been centered on healing of suffering from the Pandemic and other harsh social conflicts.

Waiting and Watching. With generous effort from many, this Saturday, we realize a virtual event with the Sacred Art Tour, LIVE that coincides with Campaign Nonviolence and the 75th Anniversary of Atomic bombs blasts in Japan.

This zoom panel and ceremony is for you and our community and gathers a fantastic panel to speak on peace and self compassion. We will be able to see a video of life at the 2000+ member monastery in India and hear from the U.S. tour leader, Minyak Rinpoche. Following the presentation a 40 minute Puja/Chant/Prayer will be offered for us all by the Drepung Gomang Tibetan Monks.

The Sacred Art Tour group was forced to cancel travel plans due to the Pandemic. They have been safely residing at the dharma center in Louisville, KY – and offering remote daily prayers and teachings. This has severely limited their ability to raise funds to support the monastery in India. Your generous donation will go to support the over 2000 monks residing at the monastery. The Monastery is so very grateful for your support!
